The EPA Scientific Advisory Council Committee on Chemicals (SACC) to Review 1-bromopropane (1-BP)

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a public meeting of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Science Advisory Committee on Chemicals (SACC) on September 9-13 to review the draft risk evaluation for 1-bromopropane (1-BP). The EPA will use the scientific advice, information, and recommendations from the SACC, as well as public comments, to inform the final risk evaluation of this substance. This is the third SACC meeting of 2019 and there will be several more through the end of the year as the EPA completes its evaluation of the first 10 chemicals.
