HCPA Congratulates Lee Zeldin on Confirmation to Lead the EPA

The Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) released the following statement, attributed to Steve Caldeira, President & CEO, following the Senate’s confirmation of Lee Zeldin as Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
“On behalf of the household and commercial products industry, HCPA congratulates Lee Zeldin on his confirmation to lead the EPA. We look forward to collaborating with Administrator Zeldin on issues related to protecting human and environmental health, enhancing innovation, and promoting sustainability and product stewardship.
We support Administrator Zeldin’s mission of protecting the country’s air, water, and land, and trust that he will use sound science in his decision-making processes. HCPA’s member companies are committed to working with Administrator Zeldin and the EPA on critical issues, such as updates to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) that support new chemical innovations, reauthorizing the Pesticide Registration Improvement Act (PRIA), and preserving the EPA’s Safer Choice program which increases access to more sustainable products.”
